Welcome to a new challenge at the Eureka Stamps blog.
This week's challenge, #26, is "Swirls & Pearls". Here's the card that I created for this week's reveal.
I know it's probably a little early, but I just love this sentiment about the coming of spring. It's called "Long Winter Days" and you can find it in the Eureka store right here. I printed it out on beige cardstock so it would match the October afternoon patterned papers that I wanted to use. The yellow layer of patterned paper is my "swirls" and the "pearl flowers" are my "pearls". They just happen to be little "swirls made out of pearls".
Here's another view of my card.
The pearl "flowers" are are the perfect color and are also perfect for the "Swirls & Pearls" theme.
I really like using these long sentiments as the focal point on some of my cards. It's a nice change of pace and some of theme are just beautiful. I especially like the calligraphy font on this particular one.
I'd like to invite you to participate in this week's challenge. Just create something and use the theme "Swirls & Pearls". If you'd like to see what the rest of the design team created, go over to the Eureka blog and take a look.
Thanks for stopping by today.
