I just posted this Easter tag in my Holiday Challenges Group at Sketches4All. The challenge is to create something that is Easter or Spring-themed "with a twist". The "twist" is to use something yellow on your creation.
Here's a close-up view of one of the beautiful yellow flowers from my friend, Lyla:
I've been cleaning and re-organizing my scraproom (and swapping) and I found this little Sassafras Lass bunny down in the bottom of my Sass container. The little fella had just slipped down under a whole bunch of other stuff. Isn't he cute? Of course, I had to put a little bow on him.
I made the tiny yellow flowers myself by punching out 4 layers of flowers and staggering the petals to make them look fuller. They're all glued together and I found these little white plastic thingies in my stash and used them for the centers. One of them is on a pop dot. The tiny pink flowers are from Prima and I just got them. The tag is out of Grungeboard Swatch Book. I painted it white and used pink chalk on the edges. The round Easter sentiment is from The Cutting Cafe.
So, come on over to my Holiday Challenge Group and join in on the fun. The challenge will run through April 9th at midnight, EST. We also have our Spring/Easter Contest going on right now in the S4All Forum. It will be going on through March 29th and the DT is posting a new challenge each day.
