Crate Paper Love

I have been in love with Crate Paper for years!  I'm also in love with anything vintage, so when I can combine Crate Paper and Vintage I'm really in love!  I got these awesome Restoration Collection papers and I've really, really enjoyed creating with them.  I created the vintage layout of my aunt and uncle and I still have a lot of pieces left.  When I find a collection that I love, I use every last little piece.  You'll be seeing it on ATC's before I'm done with it.  Here's the card that I created today:

This might look vaguely familiar because I used the playing cards and the dice again (I also used them on the layout).  They are each on a whole 12 x 12 sheet of patterned paper.  I cut them out, individually and layered them under the flower.  Speaking of the flower, I recently received some beautiful handmade flowers from my friend Lyla and this is one of them.  It just happened to match the papers perfectly.  I added the "have a great day" in the center of the flower, though.  It was just a little something that I already had.

I entered this card in Stacy HW's Cards & More Challenge Group at Sketches4All.  Her challenge was to use Stripes and/or Spots on a card.  I thought this polka dot paper was perfect for her challenge.

I mainly wanted to show off the beautiful, layered yellow flower.  I'm SO excited to have some new flowers to play with!  I mentioned that Michelle had sent me some in a little exchange we did and now I had an exchange with Lyla - so thanks, girls!  I LOVE getting rid of some of my "stuff" and getting somebody else's "stuff".  How fun!!!
