An Exciting February at MSW!

Tomorrow is February 1st!! The Holiday Rewind Crop ends tonight at My Sketch World, but guess what? Tonight, at 9 PM EST, they're having another One Hour Sketch Contest!! If you've never participated in a One Hour Sketch Contest, it's an experience you need to have!

If that isn't exciting enough, tomorrow the Sketch-A-Thon begins!! Join us for 20 days of never-before-seen Lucy Chesna sketches and help us celebrate the 4th anniversary of My Sketch World!!

Hello!!

Yes, I really am still here - ha ha.

Things have been crazy busy for me. I'm thrilled to announce that I am going to be on the Card Design Team at My Sketch World for the next six months!! I love being on Lucy's DT and am looking forward to working with some new members, as well as the returning members.

I'm always busy at Scrapbook News and Review. The January issue should be published in just a couple of days and it promises to be extra full of creativity and talent! On February 1st, I'll be doing a little tutorial on making a Valentine Day tag (or two). I know that my blog post will be linked with the SNR blog, which has been on a short hiatus.

MSW Holiday Rewind Crop

MSW DT Cards & Crop

We got to make 2 Design Team cards over at MSW, this month. We also got to use some digital stamps from The Cutting Cafe. I had never used digital stamps and I even broke down and bought some glitter pens. They really were a lot of fun to work with and I'll use them again. Here are my two cards and the sketch:







MSW is hosting a month long January crop called The Holiday Rewind Crop. It started today and ends on the 31st - there are already lots of great challenges posted and as always, you can find just the perfect challenge to get your January Mojo working!! Happy January 1, 2010 - I can hardly believe it's 2010!

I watched the big New Year's Eve show last night with a 4 and 5 year old - honestly. I could not believe that those two little ones actually stayed awake to "see the ball drop". They kept talking about the "ball dropping" all evening, but I just blew it off - what kids their ages know about these things??

Ava, who's 9, fell asleep about 9 and we couldn't wake her. She's the one I thought I'd be watching the celebration with. Anyway, I had a very exciting New Year's Eve - hubby went to bed about 10 and it was just me and the little 'uns.

I swear - next year is going to be fun - I don't know what yet, but I want to be someplace exciting - maybe on a beach somewhere. Yeah..................that's what I'm gonna do.
