4th of July Blog Hop!!



Welcome to the Scrapbook News and Review "Oh Say Can You See 4th of July Blog Hop"!! If you just came from Patti Behan's blog you're on the right track. If you didn't, you might want to hop to SNR Card Universe and start at the beginning.

I love using vintage images and have had this one for nearly a year - just waiting for the 4th of July! I used cardstock for the base and chose turquoise blue so that it would match my bling - LOL. I added some beige twill tape and adhered the bling squares to it. I also tucked a piece of red scrap paper, (which I distressed up a bit) behind the image, for an additional accent. Quick, easy and fun to make!!

In closing, I'd like to share the "Preamble of the Constitution" with you. It's still as appropriate today as it was in 1774 - I urge all of you to read these words with a renewed vigor!! "Happy Birthday, America"!!!
